Beer Yeast CO2 Concentrate for Professional Hair and Skin Formulations
Beer yeast CO2 extract is produced through supercritical carbon dioxide extraction, a method that preserves the full natural complex of B vitamins, amino acids, mineral elements and biotin without the thermal degradation typical of conventional water or alcohol extractions. This is exactly why formulators in the hair care and skin care industries prefer this concentrated form over standard yeast extracts. The product belongs to our CO2 Extracts section, where concentrated botanical and biological extracts for formulations of any scale are gathered.
The primary industrial application of beer yeast CO2 extract is the manufacturing of anti hair loss treatments, strengthening shampoos, scalp ampoules, lotions and intensive restorative masks. The combined action of biotin and B vitamins supports follicle activity, reinforces hair fiber structure and reduces breakage. In facial skin care, the extract is used in anti aging creams, serums and toning emulsions, where it supplies amino acids and mineral compounds that help maintain skin firmness. A separate area of use is the production of functional skin supplements, where the yeast complex serves as a natural source of vitamin B for topical delivery systems.
Recommended dosage in finished formulations ranges from 0.5 to 3 percent for daily use products and up to 5 percent for intensive course treatments and ampoules. The extract should be added at the final cooling stage of formulation, at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, to preserve heat sensitive vitamins and amino acids. It combines well with other botanical CO2 extracts: with Nettle CO2 extract to reinforce the anti hair loss effect, with Geranium CO2 extract to help balance scalp oiliness, and with Rosehip CO2 Extract for added antioxidant and regenerating action in facial creams.
The 100 gram packaging is designed for laboratory and studio scale production, as well as for small batches produced by private label cosmetic brands and contract manufacturers, since at a typical dosage of 1 to 3 percent this quantity is sufficient for dozens of liters of finished product. It is a practical format for testing formulations before scaling up to larger production runs, and it also supports consistent batch to batch quality for small workshops that require formulation stability.
Store the extract in a tightly closed container, in a cool dark place, preferably refrigerated, avoiding direct light and temperature fluctuations, which helps preserve the activity of the vitamin complex for as long as possible.
