Bulk Kiwi CO2 for Cosmeceutical and Industrial Formulation
Kiwi CO2 Extract in a 1 kg pack is designed for manufacturers who need reliable supply volumes and the ability to build the ingredient into large-scale conveyor formulations. This concentrate is obtained through supercritical carbon dioxide extraction from the pulp and seeds of the fruit, which preserves a rich complex of fatty acids, vitamins and natural antioxidant compounds without thermal degradation. This processing method is regarded as one of the gentlest in the modern raw material industry, which is why concentrates of this line belong to the CO2 Extracts category gathering concentrates for professional formulation.
The primary application field for kiwi CO2 is skincare and body care: creams, serums, emulsions and balms, where the extract acts as a source of nourishing lipids and natural antioxidant compounds that help slow oxidative processes within the finished formula. In color cosmetics the component is used in foundation bases and lip balm bases, giving the texture softness and a light fruity aroma nuance. The food industry also shows interest in such concentrates as natural flavoring additives for confectionery, beverages and desserts, while the fragrance industry uses the extract to build fruity notes in mid and top accords. In some cases kiwi CO2 is applied in dietary supplement manufacturing as a source of plant-based antioxidants.
Recommended dosage for cosmetic emulsions and creams ranges from 1 to 5 percent of total product mass, while for food compositions the dosage is selected individually depending on the desired aroma intensity, usually within tenths of a percent. The extract is introduced during the cooling stage of the formula, once the composition drops below 40 degrees, to avoid degrading heat-sensitive compounds. The component pairs well with other CO2 concentrates: for example with Mint CO2 Extract for refreshing body compositions, with Fucus CO2 Extract in marine and mineralizing formulas, and with Yarrow CO2 Extract in soothing formulations for sensitive skin.
The extract should be stored in tightly sealed containers, in a cool dark place away from direct light and heat sources, which helps maintain the stability of the fatty acid profile throughout the shelf life. For industrial batches it is advisable to control warehouse temperature and avoid repeated opening of large containers to minimize contact with air oxygen. The 1 kg pack size is convenient for production lines working with a steady purchasing volume, as well as for contract manufacturers who value predictable raw material supply over long periods.
Antioxidant Body Butter with Kiwi CO2
Distilled water 550 ml
Mango butter 90 g
Cetearyl olivate emulsifier 45 g
Kiwi CO2 Extract 18 g
Glycerin 25 g
Vitamin E 5 g
Broad spectrum preservative 8 g
Fragrance oil 6 g
Melt
the mango butter together with the emulsifier over a water bath until smooth,
and separately warm the distilled water with glycerin to the same temperature
of about 70 degrees. Combine both phases while stirring continuously until a
stable emulsion forms, then let the mixture cool under constant stirring. Once
the temperature drops below 40 degrees, add the kiwi CO2 extract, vitamin E,
preservative and fragrance oil, blend until fully homogeneous, and pour the
finished butter into clean containers.
