Bulk Clove CO2 for Food, Pharmaceutical and Fragrance Manufacturing
Clove CO2 extract supplied in a 1 kg pack is built for industrial manufacturers who need a consistent volume of raw material with stable properties batch after batch. It is obtained through supercritical carbon dioxide extraction of clove buds, which allows the concentrate to retain a high share of eugenol and related phenolic compounds responsible for the pronounced antiseptic and antioxidant properties of the raw material. The product belongs to the CO2 Extracts category, which brings together plant concentrates free of residual solvents, a feature highly valued in food and pharmaceutical production.
The largest global demand for clove CO2 extract comes from the food industry, where the concentrate is used in spice blends, sauces, preserves, confectionery and beverages both as a natural flavoring agent and as a preservative that slows oxidation and restrains microbial growth. The second major field is pharmaceuticals and dentistry, where eugenol has long been used in oral care formulations for its strong antiseptic activity. In cosmetic manufacturing the extract is added to toothpastes, mouth rinses, gum care products, as well as warming and anti-cellulite blends, valued for its ability to stimulate local blood circulation. In perfumery the clove note gives compositions a warm spicy accent and frequently acts as a fixative for lighter scent components. A separate application area is the production of antiseptic sprays and household chemical products, where the concentrate works simultaneously as a natural preservative and fragrance component.
Recommended dosage of clove CO2 extract typically ranges from 0.1 to 1 percent of the finished product weight depending on the application: minimal fractions are sufficient for food preservation purposes, while perfumery and skincare blends are dosed according to the desired scent intensity. The concentrate should be added at the final stage of production, at a temperature not exceeding 40-45 degrees Celsius, to preserve its volatile aromatic components. Clove extract pairs well with other CO2 concentrates, for example with Sea Buckthorn CO2 Extract in regenerating formulations, with Dill CO2 Extract in soothing skin blends, and with Juniper CO2 Extract in formulas targeting problem and oily skin.
For conveyor-line production the 1 kg pack ensures batch-to-batch consistency of raw material, which is critical when scaling formulations and passing quality control on manufacturing lines of food and pharmaceutical facilities. Store the extract in tightly closed dark glass or metal containers, in a cool place away from direct light and foreign odors, since the concentrate readily absorbs surrounding scents. Under proper storage conditions the shelf life of the raw material remains stable for an extended period, allowing manufacturers to build stock reserves for production cycles without loss of activity.
