Product Description
Chamomile extract powder botanical functional ingredient for balancing active systems and formulation stability
Chamomile extract powder is a concentrated cosmetic ingredient of botanical origin used as a raw material in formulation systems where precise balancing of active components and product stability is required. This functional ingredient is applied in manufacturing as part of an active system that ensures uniform distribution of components and stable formulation performance during storage and use. It shows strong compatibility with emulsifier systems, stabilizers and rheology modifiers and integrates into formulations without disrupting structure.
Functional properties and role
Chamomile extract powder acts as a functional ingredient that regulates interaction between components within formulation systems. It contributes to stable structure formation and improves compatibility of actives. It distributes evenly in the aqueous phase and does not affect rheology. It is compatible with preservatives such as Phenoxyethanol and Euxyl PE 9010.
Properties and result
In finished products the extract provides smooth texture and uniform distribution. It supports structural stability and prevents separation. When combined with Carbomer or Xanthan Gum it enhances system stability and consistency, resulting in predictable performance.
Purpose
The ingredient is designed to stabilize formulation systems and support botanical complexes. It enables development of stable products with predictable characteristics without increasing formulation complexity.
Application
The main segment is cosmetic manufacturing including creams, gels, masks and serums. In hair care it is used in scalp and hair products. In cleaning systems it reduces surfactant harshness. In SPA applications it is used in professional treatments. It is widely used in contract manufacturing and private label production.
Recipe Moisturizing cream with botanical stabilizing system
Water — 70 ml
Chamomile extract powder — 2 g
Olivem 1000 — 6 g
Caprylic Capric Triglyceride — 9 ml
Glycerin — 5 ml
Xanthan Gum — 0.4 g
Panthenol — 2 g
Allantoin — 0.5 g
Euxyl PE 9010 — 0.8 g
Xanthan gum is dispersed in the water phase followed by heating. The oil phase is prepared separately and heated to the same temperature. After combining phases homogenization is performed to obtain a stable emulsion. The extract and actives are added at lower temperature followed by mixing. Preservative is added at the final stage followed by stabilization.
Manufacturing stability
Chamomile extract powder ensures stable production scaling and batch reproducibility. It integrates easily into industrial processes and maintains consistent product quality.
