Bulk Parsley Extract Powder for Skincare Manufacturing and Food Applications
Parsley extract powder is a concentrated botanical ingredient obtained by gentle drying of the plant's leaves and seeds, which helps preserve its natural antioxidants and flavonoid compounds. This product belongs to the Powdered Extracts and Algae category, covering botanical raw materials used across cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical production. The 1 kg pack size is intended for manufacturing plants, contract production lines and formulation labs that require a steady supply of raw material for continuous batch output without frequent reordering.
The strongest global demand for parsley extract comes from the skincare and personal care industry. It is commonly formulated into products aimed at evening out skin tone, reducing the visible appearance of pigmentation and post-acne marks, as well as toning and refreshing formulas for dull, tired-looking skin. Manufacturers rely on it when developing eye creams, serums, toners, facial masks and products for oily or combination skin, since it supports sebum balance and gives skin a fresher appearance. Beyond skincare and color cosmetics, the powder is also used in shampoos and hair conditioners aimed at strengthening hair, as well as in select household chemistry and fragranced product formulations.
Outside cosmetics, parsley extract is widely used in the food industry as a natural flavoring additive for seasonings, bouillon concentrates, sauces and snack products. It also finds application in dietary supplement manufacturing and pharmaceutical formulations, where its content of plant polyphenols and vitamins is particularly valued.
In combined formulations, parsley extract pairs well with other botanical powders. For an enhanced brightening effect it is often blended with Licorice Root Extract Powder, for extra antioxidant support formulators combine it with Apple Extract Powder, while toning and anti-aging lines are frequently complemented with Ginseng Extract Powder.
The recommended usage rate is 0.5-3% of the total batch weight. The powder should be added to the water phase during the cooling stage of an emulsion, at temperatures not exceeding 40-45°C, to preserve the activity of the natural compounds. For even dispersion, the extract can first be pre-dissolved in a small amount of water or hydrosol to form a smooth suspension before being blended into the main batch under continuous mixing.
Store the product in a tightly sealed container, in a dry area away from direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C and relative humidity below 60%. Proper storage conditions allow the powder to retain its declared properties throughout the shelf life, which is particularly important for facilities maintaining raw material stock for continuous production lines.
