Bulk Silver Glitter for Consistent Results in Serial Production
A one kilogram pack of silver glitter is designed for manufacturers who need a reliable, uninterrupted supply of shimmer pigment for ongoing production runs. This is not a trial size for a single small batch but a working volume suited to a workshop or production line where color and shine consistency across every batch matters. Silver glitter is widely used in color cosmetics for eyeshadows, gel polishes, highlighters and body art products, as well as in candle making, gift packaging, printing and holiday decoration industries. The Glitters section brings together materials of different particle sizes and shades, making it easy to assemble formulations for several product lines at once.
The silver particles are made from polyester film with a metallized coating, which gives them resistance to moisture, temperature changes and most solvents used in manufacturing. This allows the glitter to retain a bright sheen in water-based, oil-based and alcohol-based systems alike. In cosmetic production it is usually added at the final stage, once the base has cooled to around forty five degrees, to prevent particle distortion and shine loss. Typical dosage ranges from half a gram to three grams per hundred grams of finished product, depending on the desired intensity and the transparency of the base.
In candle making, glitter is stirred into melted wax at around sixty degrees to distribute particles evenly, or applied to the surface of a finished candle together with a fixing coat. In decorative soap, glitter is sometimes used as a finishing accent, though this application is far less common than in cosmetics or candle production. In printing and packaging, glitter is blended with varnish or adhesive before application to festive labels, greeting cards and gift wrapping.
For large scale production it is important to consider how glitter interacts with other formulation components. It combines well with oil and wax bases, silicone gels and pearl pigments, allowing layered visual effects. To vary texture within a single product line, coarse glitter can be paired with finer particles such as Glitter Holographic silver TL001 (0.4 mm) 1/64 '', 50 g for a subtler shimmer, or with the classic Glitter Silver TS 001 (0.5 mm) 1/52 '', 5 g for medium density sparkle. For accent decorative elements in packaging or holiday styling, the Glitter figured Star silver, 5 g adds standalone shaped highlights on top of an even glitter base.
Store glitter in a dry place at room temperature, in the original packaging with the lid tightly closed, away from moisture and direct sunlight, since prolonged exposure can affect the uniformity of particle shine over time. Under proper conditions the product retains stable characteristics throughout its shelf life, which matters when building stock reserves for continuous production runs.
