Bulk Yeast Peptide Solution for Formulating Hair and Skin Care Products
Beer Yeast Protein Hydrolysate in a 1 liter pack is a concentrated liquid containing low molecular weight peptides and free amino acids obtained through enzymatic breakdown of brewer's yeast biomass. This ingredient belongs to the broad category of Hydrolyzed Proteins, which brings together active materials used for repairing and strengthening hair, skin and nails. The one liter volume is intended for small studio operations scaling up as well as for industrial and conveyor line production, where manufacturers need a reliable stock of raw material without frequent reordering.
The leading area of application for beer yeast protein hydrolysate is haircare manufacturing, including shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments and repair masks. Yeast derived peptide fractions can penetrate damaged sections of the hair shaft, filling gaps in the cuticle and improving fiber elasticity, which makes this ingredient especially valued in formulas targeting brittle and split ends. Beyond hair products, this hydrolysate is used in anti-aging facial creams and serums, where yeast peptides help support skin texture and firmness, as well as in nail and cuticle strengthening treatments. Industrial cosmetic manufacturers also incorporate it into scalp care formulas for sensitive skin thanks to its gentle, non-irritating profile, and occasionally into specialty bar soap formulations as a minor conditioning addition.
Beer yeast hydrolysate combines well with other plant derived protein fractions, allowing formulators to build multi component peptide complexes with a broader range of benefits. For deep hair repair formulas it is often paired with Oat Protein Hydrolysate, which adds extra softening and moisture retention to the cuticle. For nutrient rich formulations, combining it with Quinoa Protein Hydrolysate brings a broad amino acid profile, while for lightweight formulas intended for dry or reactive skin, adding Jojoba Protein Hydrolyzate offers a light texture and strong compatibility with emulsion systems.
The recommended usage rate for beer yeast protein hydrolysate in finished formulations ranges from 1 to 5 percent of total batch weight, depending on the desired concentration of active peptides. It should be added during the cool down phase of an emulsion, once the base has dropped below 40 degrees Celsius, to avoid thermal degradation of the peptide chains and preserve biological activity. The hydrolysate remains stable across a wide pH range and is compatible with most preservatives, emulsifiers and thickeners used in industrial cosmetic production. Store the raw material in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight, at temperatures between 4 and 25 degrees Celsius, minimizing repeated opening to reduce air exposure.
Peptide Repair Leave-In Treatment
Beer Yeast Protein Hydrolysate 35 ml
Distilled water 140 ml
Panthenol 10 ml
Glycerin 10 ml
Cosmetic emulsifier 20 g
Jojoba oil 20 ml
Broad spectrum preservative 5 ml
Heat
the water to 60 degrees Celsius and dissolve the emulsifier into it, then
gently warm the jojoba oil separately and blend it into the water phase under
constant stirring until a uniform emulsion forms. Cool the mixture to 38-40
degrees, then add the beer yeast protein hydrolysate, panthenol, glycerin and
preservative one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Transfer the
finished leave-in treatment into a clean bottle and apply to towel dried hair, leaving
it in without rinsing.
