Bright Orange Glow Pigment for Decorative and Craft Formulations
Fluorescent glitter neon Orange in a 50 g pack belongs to the Fluorescent glitters section, which brings together bright particles that glow both under ultraviolet light and in ordinary lighting conditions. This pack size is convenient for small studios and workshops testing new formulas or producing limited batches without committing to industrial purchase volumes.
The main worldwide demand for neon fluorescent glitter comes from the decorative cosmetics and nail industry, where the particles are added to gel polishes, body glitter gels, highlighters, eyeshadows and body-art products. Another significant field is resin craft production, where glitter is evenly dispersed throughout the mixture to create jewelry, keychains, decor pieces and souvenir items. Candle manufacturing is another strong consumer, adding glitter to melted wax for decorative candles, along with printing and packaging industries that use it for accent finishes on design elements. In home cosmetic making and soap crafting the glitter is used less often, but even there it remains a simple way to add a visual highlight to a finished piece.
The particles hold up well under typical processing conditions and disperse reliably in water-based and oil-based formulations as well as in polymer matrices. For even distribution in liquid and gel systems it is recommended to pre-disperse the glitter in a small amount of the base before blending it into the full batch under constant stirring. The introduction temperature should not exceed 60-70 degrees Celsius to avoid particle deformation and loss of glow intensity. In hot wax blends the glitter is added right before pouring, once the mass has cooled slightly, so the particles do not settle at the bottom of the mold.
To build stable glitter gels where particles stay suspended without migrating to the surface, thickeners are typically used. Aristoflex AVC 500 g works well for forming a dense clear body or face gel with even glitter distribution. For mineral suspension systems where particles need to stay evenly suspended without separation, VEEGUM Ultra 100 g is a suitable option. For emulsion creams and lotions with a subtle shimmering effect, Phospholipon 80H 100 g can be used, as it stabilizes the emulsion structure and helps keep particles suspended in the outer phase.
Recommended glitter dosage in cosmetic and decorative formulations ranges from 0.5 to 3 grams per 100 grams of finished product, depending on the desired intensity of the effect. In resin and wax items, the dosage can be increased up to 5 grams per 100 grams of mass. Store the glitter in a dry place at room temperature, in a tightly sealed container protected from direct sunlight and moisture, which prevents the particles from clumping together.
Neon Glow Body Gel
Distilled water 70 ml
Aristoflex AVC 3 g
Glycerin 5 ml
Fluorescent glitter neon Orange 2 g
Preservative 1 ml
Fragrance oil 0.5 ml
Combine the distilled water with glycerin in a clean container and gradually sprinkle in the Aristoflex while stirring continuously until a smooth, clear gel forms without lumps. Let the gel rest for 10-15 minutes to fully develop its texture, then blend in the preservative and fragrance oil. Finally, gently fold in the glitter, distributing the particles evenly throughout the gel with slow upward strokes to avoid breaking down the structure. Transfer the finished gel into a clean dispenser bottle and let it stabilize for a few hours before use.
