Fermentation is carried out by Pseudozyma sp fungi, which, thanks to enzymes, transform the components of vegetable oil. As a result of the fermentation process, the oils contain triglycerides, free fatty acids (4-6%), MEL (mannosileritol glycolipid >0.5%), enriched α-tocopherol, enriched polyphenols. MEL (a glycolipid that enhances the synthesis of glycolipids in the membranes of our cells) and free fatty acids cause a decrease in surface tension. MEL has a high affinity for the skin, so fermented oils have excellent skin absorption. Fermented oils restore the skin barrier and form a moisturizing film, providing longer-lasting hydration compared to regular oil. Fermented oils are absorbed immediately after application. Fermented oils have improved sensory properties and effectiveness.
