Product Description
Iranian Rose Essential Oil Rosa damascena natural floral essential oil for cosmetic formulations
Iranian Rose Essential Oil is a natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of Rosa damascena petals cultivated in traditional Iranian regions. The material appears as a clear mobile liquid ranging from colorless to light amber with a rich floral aroma characteristic of damask rose. The oil is fully soluble in lipid media, vegetable oils and fragrance compositions. It is insoluble in water and therefore incorporated into the oil phase of cosmetic formulations or emulsions. The complex aromatic profile makes the ingredient widely used in perfumery, cosmetic products and SPA formulations. The oil integrates easily into creams, oil blends and balms and is suitable for both laboratory formulation and industrial manufacturing.
Properties and sensory performance
In cosmetic formulations Iranian Rose Essential Oil creates a refined floral scent profile and smooth sensory characteristics. Products containing this ingredient spread evenly across the skin and maintain the clarity of oil and emulsion systems.
Industry applications
Iranian Rose Essential Oil is used in facial creams, body creams, oil serums, balms, aromatic blends and SPA products. It is widely applied in natural cosmetic lines, aromatherapy products, perfumery compositions and soap formulations. The ingredient is suitable for creating floral fragrance profiles in cosmetic products, oil perfumes, balms and aromatic candles. It is frequently used in private label development and contract manufacturing due to stable aromatic composition and compatibility with scalable production.
Formula example
Iranian Rose Essential Oil 11 ml
Jojoba oil 110 ml
Grape seed oil 90 ml
Apricot kernel oil 70 ml
Cetearyl alcohol 24 g
Purified water 420 ml
Glycerin 55 g
Vitamin E 8 g
Cetearyl alcohol is heated in the mixture of vegetable oils until a uniform oil phase forms. Iranian Rose Essential Oil and vitamin E are then incorporated and mixed thoroughly. In a separate vessel purified water and glycerin are combined. The aqueous phase is gradually introduced into the oil phase with continuous mixing to create a stable emulsion. After emulsification the pH of the aqueous phase is adjusted to a balanced range resulting in a cream with a delicate rose aroma.
Iranian Rose Essential Oil is positioned for B2B cosmetic manufacturers, formulation laboratories and contract production facilities. The ingredient provides stable aromatic performance, reproducible formulation behavior and compatibility with scalable industrial manufacturing.
