Bio Chelate fermented mineral complex for skin support and advanced formulation systems
Bio Chelate is a complex of fermented minerals including zinc iron silicon copper and magnesium in a bioavailable form. Fermentation converts these minerals into a state that integrates more efficiently into cosmetic systems and interacts more evenly with the skin surface. The ingredient is used in formulations where a stable mineral component is required without adding weight or disrupting texture.
What it is and where it is used
Bio Chelate is incorporated into formulations where a multi mineral complex is needed to extend the functional profile of a product. It is commonly used in creams serums toners masks and scalp care products.
In skin care it is applied in formulations that combine multiple active ingredients. In hair care it is used in shampoos and scalp treatments. In professional cosmetic systems it is included as part of complex multi active formulations.
How it works
Bio Chelate functions as a source of fermented minerals that become part of the overall formulation system. The bioavailable form allows more uniform distribution within the product and better interaction with the surface.
Minerals do not act as standalone structural agents but contribute as supportive components within the formulation. Their performance depends on concentration and combination with other actives.
Properties
Bio Chelate contains minerals in a stable form and is water soluble. It distributes evenly within formulations and does not create a heavy or dense texture.
The ingredient is compatible with a wide range of actives and does not destabilize the system. It is suitable for modern formulations requiring balanced multi component structures.
Applications across industries
In cosmetics it is used in creams serums masks and toners where multifunctional actives are applied. In scalp care it is used in shampoos and targeted treatments.
In professional cosmetic formulations it is used in complex systems with multiple active ingredients. In functional product development it is applied as a mineral component to extend formulation capability.
Behavior in formulation
Bio Chelate is soluble in water and is added to the aqueous phase. It remains stable across a broad pH range and is compatible with water soluble ingredients.
It distributes uniformly and does not affect clarity when used at appropriate levels. It can be applied in both gel and liquid systems.
How to use
Bio Chelate is added during the cooling phase or below 40 degrees. It does not require heating.
Gentle mixing is recommended to ensure even distribution without disturbing the formulation structure.
Recommended usage level
Typical usage ranges from 1 percent to 5 percent depending on formulation goals.
The exact level is defined by composition and desired performance.
Formulation example
Light mineral serum with balanced texture
Purified Water — 780 ml
Glycerin — 50 ml
Hydroxyethylcellulose — 5 g
Bio Chelate — 40 ml
Niacinamide — 20 g
Panthenol — 10 ml
Allantoin — 5 g
Phenoxyethanol Ethylhexylglycerin — 5 ml
Clean Skin Fragrance Oil — 3 ml
Processing
Hydroxyethylcellulose is dispersed in water to form a gel followed by addition of glycerin. After full hydration Bio Chelate is incorporated with gentle mixing until uniform.
Niacinamide Panthenol and Allantoin are then added. Phenoxyethanol Ethylhexylglycerin and Clean Skin Fragrance Oil are introduced at the final stage. The system is mixed until fully homogeneous.
Important considerations
Bio Chelate is a functional mineral complex and should be dosed accurately according to formulation requirements.
It acts as a supportive ingredient within a system and not as a standalone base. Proper formulation balance ensures stable performance and consistent integration into cosmetic products.
