Recipe for a universal cosmetic gel base using Amigel

Glycerin 5 g
Liquid aloe extract 6 ml

To prepare the universal gel base water is placed in a mixing vessel followed by gradual incorporation of Amigel under continuous stirring until the powder is fully dispersed. After gel formation glycerin and aloe extract are added with continued mixing until uniform consistency is achieved. Finally preservative is incorporated and the mixture is blended until structure stabilization occurs. The result is a transparent gel with soft consistency suitable for use as a standalone product or as a base for active ingredient incorporation.

Properties	Using AMIGEL at concentrations from 0.25 to 2%, gels with viscosities from 60 to 12,000 cps can be obtained. This makes it possible to obtain preparations with different characteristics, from solid gels to liquid (as in serum), depending on the need. It is recommended to create gels in hot water, then you will immediately get the desired consistency. Water should be 60-70°C. The gel is very easy to make, mix the gelling agent with cold water and put it on a steam bath, when the water heats up, just stir until the gel forms. The second option - in the already hot water, without removing the glass from the bath, with constant stirring, you introduce sclerotium powder. Stir all the time, then remove from the bath and stir until completely cooled. The second way gives even more pleasant tactile qualities. But in the first version, the gels are also very pleasant.
