CO2llageneer is a lipophilic botanical complex based on Lupinus albus seed extract stabilized in a vegetable oil carrier. The ingredient appears as an oily liquid ranging from light yellow to golden color with mild plant aroma. Fully soluble in oils and lipid phases while insoluble in water. It is incorporated into the oil phase of emulsions, balms and oil serums. The lipid matrix facilitates even distribution of the plant extract within cosmetic formulations. Compatible with vegetable oils, waxes, silicones and cosmetic emollients.

Jojoba oil 80 ml
Grape seed oil 50 ml
Cetearyl alcohol 25 g
Purified water 520 ml
Glycerin 60 g
Aloe extract 40 g

The oils and cetearyl alcohol are heated until a uniform lipid phase is formed. CO2llageneer is then incorporated and mixed until evenly distributed. In a separate vessel purified water, glycerin and aloe extract are combined to form the aqueous phase. The aqueous phase is gradually introduced into the oil phase under intensive mixing forming a stable emulsion. After emulsification the pH of the aqueous phase is adjusted to a balanced level. The result is a smooth cream emulsion with soft sensory texture.
