Flavors for electronic cigarettes
E-cigarettes need regular refilling; without liquid the device simply will not work. If you like changing flavours often, it is fun to build a refill to your own taste and pick a flavouring for it. DIY mixing is also clearly cheaper, since the price of ready liquid always includes advertising and packaging.
The basic component ratio
In the author's recipe, the refill base looks like this: food grade vegetable glycerin makes up 70% of the mass, propylene glycol 15%, flavourings 5% and synthetic nicotine 5%. The simplest method is to mix everything thoroughly. Always wear gloves and take care: nicotine is toxic, so keep bottles away from children and pets.
A natural coffee flavouring
You can make a flavouring yourself too, for example a coffee one. You need 200 g of ground black coffee, 1 l of distilled water and 2 drops of cocoa butter.
Bring the water to the boil and let it cool a little. Pour it over the coffee, add the cocoa butter, stir well and transfer to a container that seals tightly; an ordinary plastic bottle will do. Keep it in the fridge for at least 12 hours, then strain and discard the grounds. Only the liquid goes into the refill.
Feel free to experiment with flavours, but change the ratios gradually. To find a taste for your own mix, browse our flavourings range.
