Oil elixir for eyelashes and eyebrows
Defined lashes and brows make your eyes stand out even without makeup. Mascara, tinting and extensions can leave the hairs dry and brittle, so they need regular care. A homemade oil elixir helps keep lashes and brows soft, glossy and well cared for.
Elixir ingredients
The base is castor and burdock carrier oils, traditionally used in hair care. Light jojoba or almond oil is added to make the blend easier to apply, along with a few drops of oil-soluble vitamins A and E.
How to make and apply it
Mix five millilitres each of castor and burdock oil, five millilitres of jojoba oil and two drops each of vitamins A and E. Pour the blend into a clean mascara tube or a brush bottle from our containers and packaging range.
Apply a thin layer to clean lashes and brows in the evening, keeping it out of your eyes. After half an hour, blot off the excess with a tissue. After a month of regular use you will notice the hairs feel softer. For gentle makeup removal, try cornflower or chamomile hydrosol.
FAQ
Can I leave the oil on overnight?
It is better to remove the excess so your eyelids are not puffy in the morning.
Is it suitable for contact lens wearers?
Yes, but apply it after taking out your lenses.
How long does it keep?
About three months in a dark place.
