EASYNOV: designing lightweight emulsions with a modern sensory profile
EASYNOV is listed with INCI Octyldodecanol & Octyldodecyl Xyloside & PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, a lipophilic viscous form and a 1–4% use range. It should therefore be developed as its own commercial emulsification system.
Define the emulsion architecture first
Oil-phase size, composition, target viscosity and sensory profile should be set before optimizing the emulsifier level.
Development workflow
1. Build a simple control emulsion.
2. Fix EASYNOV and oil-phase levels.
3. Evaluate after full cooling.
4. Add the active phase.
5. Recheck pH and viscosity.

6. Run stability observations.
Do not copy Olivem 1000 processing
Different INCI systems have different architecture and sensory behavior. Similar end uses do not make emulsifier percentages interchangeable.
Internal navigation
EASYNOV 25 g can be compared with other cosmetic emulsifiers based on actual formulation requirements.
Conclusion
EASYNOV should be optimized as a complete emulsion system in which emulsifier level, lipid phase, actives and sensory target are considered together.
