Waxing for split ends
Not sure what to do about split ends, and your hairdresser simply suggests cutting them off? That costs your style at least six centimetres of length, and the ends will split again, so the trimming never ends. If you want to keep long hair, try another way: a wax for the ends that is easy to make at home. It nourishes and moisturises, bringing back life and natural shine.
Ingredients
You need 1.5 g of beeswax, 3 g of coconut oil, 2 g of shea butter, 1 g of broccoli seed oil, 2.5 g of avocado oil, 4 drops of D-panthenol, 3 drops of 98% vitamin E and 4 drops of essential oil.
Oil phase
Get a clean beaker and kitchen scales. Weigh the beeswax: it forms a fine film on the hair that holds in moisture and protects the ends. Add avocado oil, rich in vitamins and minerals, and nourishing shea butter, especially welcome in winter.
Then add coconut oil, which moisturises well and helps keep protein in the hair, and broccoli seed oil, a natural alternative to silicones that gives the ends a glossy, groomed look. Melt the wax and oils in a water bath until smooth.
Active phase
Add the D-panthenol, which makes hair look stronger and healthier, vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, and an essential oil you like. Mix well, spoon into a cosmetic jar and chill for a couple of hours until the wax sets. Another option is our serum for split ends.
FAQ

Warm a tiny amount between your palms and smooth it over dry ends.
What can replace silicones for the ends?
Broccoli seed oil gives a similar glossy effect naturally.
How long does the wax take to set?
A couple of hours in the fridge.
