Anti-aging cream with peptide: recipe

Peptides are small chains of amino acids that play an important role in maintaining youthful and firm skin. They stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, helping to reduce wrinkles and improve skin tone. We offer you a simple recipe for a cream with peptide that you can prepare yourself at home.

Ingredients:

• Oil phase:
o Shea butter (karite) – 10 g
o Coconut oil – 8 g
o Jojoba oil – 5 g
o Emulsion wax (Olivem 1000) – 5 g
• Aqueous phase:
o Rose hydrolate – 40 ml
o Aloe vera gel – 10 ml
• Active components:
o Peptide (Matrixyl, Argireline or other) – 1-2% of the total cream volume
o Preservative (Cosgard, phenoxyethanol) – 0.5-1%
Tools:
• Scales
• Two heat-resistant containers
• Mini mixer or whisk
• Shoulder blade
• Clean cream jar

Preparation:

1. Preparation: Disinfect all tools and work surface.
2. Oil phase: In one container, mix shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil and emulsion wax. Heat in a water bath until the wax is completely dissolved.
3. Water phase: In another container, mix rose hydrosol and aloe vera gel. Heat in a water bath to the same temperature as the oil phase.
4. Emulsify: Remove both containers from the water bath. Pour the water phase into the oil phase in a thin stream, stirring continuously with a mixer or whisk until a homogeneous emulsion is formed.
5. Cooling: Continue stirring the cream until it cools to room temperature.
6. Active Ingredients: Add peptide and preservative. Mix thoroughly with a spatula.
7. Packaging: Transfer the cream into a clean jar. Store in a cool place.
Application:

Apply the cream to cleansed face and neck skin morning and evening.

Notes:
• You can use other base oils and hydrosols at your discretion.
• Peptide concentration may vary depending on the peptide you choose and the individual characteristics of your skin.
• Before using the cream for the first time, test for an allergic reaction on a small area of skin.
